highly appreciated craft technique in ancient Greece. This art was developed during the 7th and 6th centuries B.C., being a true manifestation of the skill and ability of Greek potters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"margin-top:40px;margin-bottom:25px\">Origin and development of the black figure technique<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The origin of the technique of black figures is located on the island of Euboea, where it began to be used around the 7th century BC. This technique was characterized by the use of iron-rich clays, whose dark pigments made it possible to obtain this distinctive black color in the figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over time, the black-figure technique was perfected and spread throughout Greece, especially in the cities of Athens and Corinth.
